We provide a comprehensive approach that combines outdoor adventure, trauma-informed & evidence-backed curriculum, mindfulness, narrative rewriting, and creative processes to help the entirety of person heal, grow, and find purposeful direction in life.
We know that people have big dreams and sometimes just don’t know how to overcome the obstacles that stand in their way or have lost touch with that dream. We have a deep passion for helping people discover what their vision for life is and providing tools and experiences that give you the confidence, courage, and clarity needed to make it a reality. Our mentoring approach looks at the individual through a holistic lens of emotions, thoughts, connections, belief’s, and stories, digging deep to find the core of the issues holding one back from achieving their true potential.
Crucial to our approach is outdoor recreation. Nature-based healing practices have been proven to be among the most effective in helping individuals of all ages learn, build resilience, and overcome challenges. Through our own experience we know that outdoor exploration is a powerful tool in the journey of self discovery, creation of a vision for life, and building deeper peace, confidence, and connection.
Meet The People
Dallin
Owner & Guide
A Utah native and lifelong explorer, Dallin found his own path to healing in the outdoors. Growing up with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and experiencing trauma, he often felt like an outcast and failure. Through climbing, skiing, mountain biking, and canyoneering that he discovered community, freedom, and a way forward.
His personal journey evolved beyond himself into a desire to help others discover their own freedom. This led him into a career as a mental health spending 4 years as a guide across intensive outpatient, wilderness therapy, and residential treatment programs. Driven to understand the pain he experienced and saw in others, Dallin immersed himself in studying the nervous system, psychology, mindfulness, and philosophy. During this time, he identified a critical gap in the industry: traditional programs relied on a limited view of human beings, focusing heavily on corrective behavior rather than holistic healing.
This realization sparked the vision for Pathfinder. Combining his profound curiosity about the mind-body-spirit connection with his love for the outdoors, Dallin’s approach to healing is comprehensive and inclusive, honoring every aspect of a person. For the past four years, he has shared his passion for helping others discover their personal legend in correctional, educational, and community spaces across the state. He is currently 90% through completing a 3,500-hour Emotional Intelligence Apprenticeship through My Story Matters.
